Apple has just given us the ability to restore recently deleted iCloud files, contacts, calendars in addition to giving you a countdown until your files are no longer retrievable .
To access these restore options.
- Sign in to icloud.com
- Click the Settings icon
- Scroll to the bottom left screen and select one of the advanced options (Restore files, Restore contacts, and Restore Calendars
Restoring a document will restore it to its location within youriCloudDrive while the other restore options works more like restoring a full backup. These features do archive your current version prior to restoring.
On a side note, any shared items will have to be re-shared after the restore.
